The winner receives a prize of 3,000 euros and is featured in their own exhibition with a personal catalog the following year. A prize of 500 euros is awarded to the illustrator most voted for by Tapirulan users.

The purpose of Tapirulan’s contest is not only to give an award to an author, but is to produce an illustration exhibition that will intrigue and attract visitors, both with the special guest section and the selected illustrator section.
