Matilda in the Library

Inspired by Roald Dahl’s beloved novel ‘Matilda’, my work explores the vivid scenes of Matilda’s world, drawing on both the original book and its adaptations.

The library is a paradise where Matilda can swim in the wonderful world of books. Here she tells the librarian her own made-up stories about the escapologist and the acrobat. So I turned the library into a circus in the style of a cut-paper collage. The books in the library and the characters in the books became the audience for her stories.
