Ice Baths

This illustration was meticulously planned, lovingly crafted, and pulled through many long hours in the screen-print studio for a contest whose theme I was certain it nailed. For safety, I also submitted a second piece that took a fraction of the time. Naturally, the quick backup was selected. The one shown here — the labor of love — is the flop: proof that effort and outcome are not always on speaking terms.
