Erotism

For me the “X” is the graphic element which expresses the pure concept
of erotism. It refers to the excitement and pleasure of senses in
sexual relations. This illustration wants to remind of the idea of
erotism that the painter Bronzino represents in his work full of
symbolism in “Venus, Cupid, Folly and Time”
