Bees and flowers share a mutualistic relationship where both species benefit. Flowers provide bees with nectar and pollen, their primary food sources, while bees pollinate flowers by transferring pollen between blossoms, enabling plants to reproduce. This delicate balance showcases nature’s intricate connections and interdependence. I chose this as a way to represent the theme of ‘tandem’, to highlight the harmony and unity of life, emphasising the importance of preserving such symbiotic relationships in our rapidly depleting world.
