Diletta Colombo (1981). Graduated in contemporary history, from 2002 to 2013 she worked at Libraccio, training in bookshop management and in the purchase and sale of new and used books, both Italian and imported. As manager of Libraccio di arte dei Navigli in Milan, she specialized in the field of visual and applied arts and, for her personal research, in particular in illustrated books for children. Since 2009 she has organized “Alle 9 da Babar” in Milan, a reading group of illustrated books in which publishers, booksellers, librarians, teachers, illustrators and enthusiasts participate. Since 2010 she has managed the Topipittori stand at the children’s fair in Bologna. In December 2012, together with Chiara Bottani, she opened Spazio B**K: an independent bookshop-workshop specializing in books with pictures and images of all kinds, with a very select offering of contemporary fiction and non-fiction, which organizes presentations and exhibitions, training courses and workshops related to the world of books, the languages of images and artisan techniques.
