He was born in Reggio Emilia in 1978. He graduated from the Paolo Toschi Art Institute in Parma and from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. In 2003, the jury of the 22nd International Biennial of Humor in Art in Tolentino, chaired by Sergio Staino, selected him to participate in the biennial exhibition and included him in the catalog. In 2005, he won first prize. He currently works as a drawing teacher in a nursery school.
