X my golden heart

When working with the prompt of ‘X’ I looked into the saying “cross my heart and hope to die” thinking about it’s association with honesty, sincerity and the keeping and breaking of promises. To put more emphasis on the theme of sincerity I also worked the “heart of gold” imagery into my final piece.
