Surreal landscape with a bike

I like the duality of the word “ciao”. Unlike many of the greetings from other languages it can mean both “hello” and “goodby” thus uniting these actions into a spiral of communication between people. To me it seems somehow poetical that every “ciao” said as greeting has a hint of parting in it and on the other hand every parting also contains the meaning of meeting again.

My surreal landscape picture is a metaphor of this duality, where up and down are organically united together by a tree.
