“Et Voilà!” è probabilmente la versione/significato più utilizzato di Voilà in Francia. Indica una realizzazione improvvisa con sfumature amare o la soddisfazione (a volte maligna) di vedere arrivare conseguenze solitamente negative e facilmente previste da chi parla; una sorta di vendetta moderna di Cassandra. Questa è la mia scelta interpretativa del tema e per la prima volta è personale: consapevolezza che i nuovi orizzonti sono finti, l’ottimismo è illusione e le scelte non erano nemmeno reali all’inizio…Et Voilà!!

“Et Voilà!” is probably the most often used version/meaning of Voilà in France. It indicates sudden realisation with bitter undertones or satisfaction (sometimes malicious) of seeing usually negative consequences arrive that were easily predicted by the speaker; some sort of Cassandra modern revenge. This is my choice for the interpretation of the theme and for the first time is personal: realisation that new horizons are fake, optimism is delusion and choices weren’t even real to start with…Et Voilà!!
