Samsara

I’ve chosen to illustrate a scene from a 2011 film “Samsara” by Ron Fricke – a sequence of images from around the world, emphasizing its beauty and complexity. This image of cows in factory farm has stuck with me long after the movie has finished. It triggered a profound reflection on how the food is produced nowadays – and how little we know about it.
