Imagine

I wanted to express a simplistic style of illustration, using a limited colour palette. It symbolises how even the simplest design, can make your imagination run wild. I asked many friends and other students what they saw within this design. Some said they can see ‘aeroplanes’, some say ‘birds’, and others say ‘fish’. I began designing a number of different outcomes for this project’s theme, and eventually came across some Rorschach images. This therefore brought to me the idea of using the black and white palette and a simplistic style. I wanted viewers to look at this design and imagine what they see, and not just the letter ‘X’.
