Bones and Feathers

Bones and Feathers combines striking visual impact with the tension of life, technology and art. At the center of the piece lies an infinity symbol woven from human and animal bones; their rough, narrative-rich textures seem to carry the memories of civilization and the traces of evolution. Enclosed within the two loops of the infinity symbol are two sharply contrasting miniature worlds: one reveals a solemn procession and forest, while the other presents a bustling crowd and flags, creating a dialogue between history and the present, order and revelry. Above and below, two pairs of magnificent, colorful wings spread like a phoenix, with layers of blue, green, gold and orange feathers glowing with vibrant life against a bright yellow background, forming a powerful contrast in texture and emotion with the cool, solid bones beneath.
