Beauty of Chaos

This image explores the idea of weather as a chaotic system, one which we cannot always predict. Using quick and repetitive brush strokes I hope to convey the disruption and liveliness of the storm as well as capture a strong sense of atmosphere. I added the boat as a way to depict a moment of stillness amongst the chaos, reminding the audience that chaos can be both something to fear and something beautiful.
