Description
In my work, I depict a musician overwhelmed by fear and anxiety, hiding behind the stage to explore how anxiety disorders affect an individual’s inner self. The imagery includes blocked instruments, a falling heart, and inspiration trapped within the musical tools, all symbolizing the creative struggles bound by anxiety. As the balance teeters on the edge, a cat on the left side of the scene holds it together, representing the companionship and support pets offer. When the musician finally faces the audience, accompanied by the phrase “Voilà,” it signifies the sudden revelation and release of his inner turmoil. He exposes his fears and anxieties to the public, marking not just an outward presentation but a crucial moment of emerging from the shadows to confront both the world and himself.
