I have chosen to illustrate the movie The Shining directed by Stanley Kubrick and starring Jack Nicholson. I have illustrated the scene where Jack Torrence begins to go insane, writing and rewriting “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”, i have tried to capture the wildness of his insanity within his facial expression while incorporating his notes on a typewriter in the background.
