Roost Premiere

I was inspired by the tenacious pigeons roosting on the fire escape of my Brooklyn apartment. Despite introducing deterrents including a pinwheel and a fake owl, the pigeons have returned for another season of painting our stoop with poop. I imagined the pigeons mocking our attempts to nudge them out, and dancing amidst our failed scarecrows as if they were props. But, maybe this overconfident dancing pigeon is about to experience his own flop…
