French is not my first language but the phrase Voila has been used in my vocabulary many times. something about that word can take you back in time, and one of my favorite time periods is the Victorian Era and its aesthetics. I chose to use that aesthetic and combine it with etching-type of illustration to connect it all together with our main character in the illustration – aristocratic rat.
