This work is themed “It’s done”, depicting a painter standing in a pile of draft paper, facing a huge blank canvas. In the end, he gave up the pursuit of perfection and completed the work with just a casual stroke. It seems to be a bit helpless and self-deprecating, suggesting that the obsession with perfection in artistic creation may be just a futile pursuit, and the final product is just a casual smear.
