Global SOS

This piece elaborates on the drastic changes that are occurring in the arctic. Sea ice has been melting at record speeds, leaving polar bears almost incapable of feeding themselves due to the changing terrain. SOS. I did not make the bears skinny as it puts too much emotion into the viewer, which was not my goal. I decided to add a baby bear to let the viewer realize that the mother is seeking food for both of them but inevitability cannot obtain it. SOS. I hope you find my piece compelling and powerful in its simplicity.
