A tandem at war

I have chosen to depict a seen of “war”. The tandem, which in this case represents the obstacle between the enemies, makes the road impossibile to navigate because the soldiers are facing each other rather than collaborating and moving forwards. The two soldiers are precariously riding this immobile tandem, losing their energies, and putting themselves at risk of falling, because they fail to see that they are sitting on the same “ground”. The contrast between the traditional tandem and the one I have illustrated is a fruit of all the recent wars we are seeing lately.
I have used digital medias to create this illustration trying to give a sense of depth and the illusion of using mixed media.
