A person, or rather a snail, would say that owning a villa symbolizes the social ideal of success and prosperity. Yet the feeling of isolation is overwhelming. FLOP here is not a failure in the traditional sense, but a change of perspective: the one who has truly ‘failed’ is not the one with the small house. In today’s world, houses often own us and our freedom more than we own them—just ask the snail who closed the door and left the key inside.
