A drop of chaos

As humans we try to make sense of chaos. We have this illusion that we are in control of life, and that there is no problem that our minds can’t master. But the mind goes into chaos when ones worldviews are shattered in a single instant, when the veil is ripped away. The sense of witnessing something horrific, unexplainable, and what that would do to an otherwise logical mind. What would happen if you witnessed something truly impossible, something so utterly terrifying that it instantly makes you question your own experience, your own understanding of the universe, sliding into madness. Madness is chaos. Chaos and madness go hand in hand.
