A Bittersweet Farewell

I knew early on that I would choose an endearing movie from my childhood. I chose Mulan (1998) for both its charming visual interest and powerful emotional content. The scene that fascinates me the most is the one where Mulan grabs her father’s sword and, with a single stroke, cuts her beautiful princess-like hair in order to become a brave warrior.
