The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach

I associate buffet with emotions, comfort and familiarity. In my work I wanted to show an ordinary situation when a process of eating means so much more than simply swallowing food. I got inspired by all those women who take care of their loved ones and who find joy in cooking and preparing meals. In choosing my technique, I’ve decided to go with a traditional drawing, which, in my opinion, properly presents the situation.
