The First (and Last) Performance

In this interpretation of “flop,” the stage becomes a shore. The artwork depicts the fleeting, desperate moment of a fish attempting to conquer a world it wasn’t built for. Wrapped in the pomp of a stage performer, the subject realizes too late that the roar of the crowd cannot replace the rush of the tide.
