In Facebook we trust

Social media allow us to create our own perfect worlds and provide an ideal setting for us to act as Gods in them. It is the world where we are being constantly served our most favourite news. It is the world where we are on stage. It is the world where we like everyone and we want everyone to like us in return. Our hunger for these small bits of instant gratification, however, is a betrayal to our real selves and our real lives.

For my illustration, I use the globally recognised image solely as a metaphor without the intention to hurt anyone’s feelings.
