Descrizione
When I thought of Eden, two things came to mind: on one hand, myths and beliefs, and on the other, a beautiful, natural garden. But one way or another, both are being demolished by the modern and capitalized society, for good or bad reasons. That is why I decided to represent my Eden as a forest being destroyed to make room for the “Eden Mall”. The myths and beliefs part is also present since I referred to the classics: Adam, Eve, the snake and the apple tree. My illustration doesn’t have one focal point. It’s a group of little stories that the viewer discovers while exploring the drawing.
