Duitama, stop and twerk

Nowadays working mode is sedentary, we spend between 10 and 12 hours a day in front of screens. Therefore STOP means dynamism, dancing and freedom. This illustration focuses on the popular culture scene in my town, based on the music that is heard on the streets in 2021. It represents what is judged as vulgar or inappropriate and has little exposure in the illustration circuits. These two women, like giant monsters, are opposed to the values ​​that the catholic religious system still tries to impose on women to achieve perfection, such as chastity, submission, stillness and silence.
