Culture Shock

I’ve always had troubles dealing with culture shock ever since I emigrated to another country when I was 16. From a small village surrounded by overgrown trees and vegetation to a concrete jungle filled with architectures that covers the sky. It was intimidating, it felt like I was completely uprooted from the land I grew and have already adapted only to be thrown at a place foreign and full of hardship. This piece represents my struggles as an immigrant, where I had to force myself to adapt and plant myself in a place where I don’t feel like I belong.
