How to stop hate? Voilà.

Hate: intense hostility and aversion usually deriving from fear, anger, or sense of injury; extreme dislike or disgust: antipathy, loathing; a systematic and especially politically exploited expression of hatred; often used before another noun; see also HATE CRIME.

How to stop hate? With a prank perhaps…? A pair of menacing combat boots are stopped on their way to kicking and stomping by a simple trick: the good old shoelaces prank. They’ll trip and fall and their owner, flushed face, will be momentarily distracted by his/her hateful purposes. Maybe he/she will once again be able to see the world through the playful eyes of a child and will join us in a burst of tension-breaking laughter. Maybe not… Even if just for a moment hate will be stopped and with a smug smile the author of the prank will be able to exclaim: “Voilà”.
