“Tilted Japanese Noh Masks” is inspired by traditional Japanese Noh Theater Masks.
Three Noh masks are tilted and lie on top of each other, intoxicated by strong scent of cherry blossoms.
Their almond shaped eyes stare blankly into space. The ambivalent corners of their mouth leave their moods utterly indiscernible. It is up to viewers to read their true emotions hidden under these expressionless masks. Are they happy or sad? They are tilted for sure.
