It’s every Monday morning, after I drop my 4-year-old off at school and head to the studio, with a really long list of to-dos (the kind that’s all about surviving, nothing indulgent) in mind, when I think: How the hell did I get to this point? And it makes me smile, because honestly, I love it. So much.
Being a woman and an artist wasn’t easy at all, but turning it into a circus by my own choice was a really great FLOP. The kind of FLOP you embrace as if there’s no tomorrow. But let’s be honest, I could be the president of that (happily growing) club.
And for sure, everyday little FLOPS are the salt of my life now.
