Plastic Food

I have responded to the theme ‘stop’ by illustrating the typical supermarket produce, quite literally coved in plastic. The destructive obsession we have with this need to cover anything and everything in plastic. I wanted to show this toxic behaviour by colouring the packaging in sickly and toxic colours. This diseased yet clinical colour palette completely overshadows the natural colours of the food within the plastic cages.
