Tecnica / Technique:
Partially inspired by the painting “Napoleon Crossing the Alps.”
Some say that history has unstoppable giant wheels; those who wish to alter its direction are just like little mantises: Spread their arms under the chariot before getting crushed into mud and dirt.
If history really has wheels, its wheels must be made of saw blades, and it’s not going any direction; it’s sinking down, carrying its power-hungry riders, tearing, maiming, eating the mud and dirt beneath their teeth.
Aren’t the great ones riding in tandem, when all they do is to grind little mantises into dust?
