Do It For Her

I wanted to represent not just the theme of failure, but also what to do in the face of failure. It is always easy to give up when things get difficult. It is always easy to leave your problems for another day, another time. But to reach your goals, you must dust yourself off and try again; and I hope to express that emotion in my artwork. The drawing depicts a person who has produced many failed artworks. They surround this person and remind her of her incompetence. However, this individual continues to stand tall and paint once again. What she paints is a picture of her future success, to illustrate that failure is the mother of triumph.
